If you need anything at all – extra pillows, towels, taxi numbers, local recommendations – just get in touch with the team.

  • Your room is serviced daily.

  • For extra towels, pillows, toiletries or tea & coffee, please contact Reception.

  • If you would like your room not to be serviced, please let Reception know or use the “Do Not Disturb” sign if provided.

Laundry

    • We do not currently offer a full laundry service, but we’re happy to recommend nearby laundrettes on request.

TV & Streaming

  • Use the remote to switch the TV on and browse channels.

  • To change input or source, press the Source/Input button on the remote.

Streaming Accounts (Netflix, Amazon, YouTube, etc.)
If you choose to log into any personal streaming accounts on the TV, please ensure you log out before check-out.
The Park Hotel cannot access, manage, or sign out of guest accounts, and we are not responsible for any accounts left logged in after your stay.

How to Log Out on the TV:

  1. Open the streaming app you used

  2. Go to Settings / Account

  3. Select “Sign Out” / “Log Out”

  4. Confirm when prompted

To Log Out Remotely From Your Own Device:

  • Netflix: Account → Security & PrivacySign Out of All Devices

  • Amazon Prime Video: Account → Manage Your AppsSign Out of All Devices

  • Google / YouTube: Account → Manage DevicesSign Out

If you need help logging out, Reception is happy to assist.


Heating

  • Heating can be adjusted using the room thermostat or radiator valves (depending on your room).

  • If the temperature is too warm or too cold, or you’re unsure how to adjust it, please contact Reception and we’ll be happy to help.


Room Amenities

    • Hairdryer: Located in your wardrobe or drawer 

    • Iron & Ironing Board: Located in your room 

    • Tea & Coffee: Complimentary facilities are provided and can be topped up at Reception

    • Extra pillows, blankets or towels: Available on request — call or visit Reception

    • Complimentary Bottled Water

      If any of the above are missing from your room please contact reception to get you a replacement.

Check-Out

Standard check-out time is 11:00am.

Late Check-Out
Late check-out may be available subject to availability and an additional charge of £10 per hour up to 13:00.


Please contact Reception the day before departure if you would like to arrange this.

House Rules

Smoking & Vaping

  • The Park Hotel Diss is a non-smoking and non-vaping hotel.

  • Smoking or vaping in bedrooms will incur a deep-cleaning charge of £100+.

  • There are designated smoking areas outside – please ask a member of staff.

Noise

  • Please be considerate of other guests, especially between 11:00pm and 7:00am.

Pets

  • Pets are not allowed in guest bedrooms but are welcome in our Old Barrel Bar area.

Damage

  • Any significant damage or missing items may result in a charge being made to the card supplied at check-in.

Emergencies & Safety

Fire Alarm

  • If you hear the continuous fire alarm, leave the building immediately using the nearest exit.

  • Do not use the lifts.

  • Our assembly point is in our car park on the left side near the black fences.

Medical Emergency

  • Dial 999 for emergency services.

  • Then contact Reception so we can assist and direct the emergency crew.

Security

  • Please ensure your door is fully closed and locked when leaving your room.

  • Do not prop open fire doors or allow unknown persons to follow you into the building.

If you notice anything unsafe, please let a member of staff know immediately.
